Late Night Post: Quizbowl Post-College?

Post by EnviroBen13 »

I'm just curious: Is there quizbowl post-college? Be it leagues(an affiliated QB league would be something else lol), tournaments, or maybe the one-off trivia night, is there a use for quizbowl post-college?

400 ppg on chicago open should be a crime

i will definitely be playing one of these in like 8-10 years btw so be on the lookout for a random shinedown album name around 8th in bottom bracket in the 2034 chicago open 😂

The short answer is that in some regions there are open events a couple times a year (particularly during the summer) where post-college players are eligible to play. That, and volunteering to staff events.

It is also possible to simply remain a perpetual college student, get multiple degrees, attend graduate school, et cetera. Results may vary; check the NAQT and ACF eligibility rules for more.

To add to this, most opens are not at the level of Chicago Open, and many are at what would be considered "normal" collegiate difficulty. COOT and NASAT are commonly used for summer opens.
