Quiz Bowl at Auburn University is pleased to announce that Auburn University will host a mirror of ACRONYM 18 on Saturday, March 1! This is a casual, low-difficulty trash tournament intended for anyone, from newcomers to experienced quiz bowl veterans.

Player Eligibility
This tournament is open to everyone, including high schoolers, college students, graduates, and anyone else who wants to play. The field is capped at 18 teams.

Logistics
The tournament will be held at the Mell Classroom Building, attached to the RBD Library on the other side of S College St. The address is 231 Mell St Auburn, AL 36849. There is a parking deck on the south side of the library that can be reached from S College St. by turning onto Roosevelt Dr. Parking is free on weekends. The tournament will begin at 9:00 with an introductory meeting in Room 2510 in the Mell Classroom Building.

Registration
Teams can register through this Google Form.

Lunch
We will be serving pizza and beverages on the bottom floor of the Mell Classroom Building. The building is also a five-minute walk from downtown Auburn, where players are welcome to a variety of food options.

Fees
Participation costs $15 per player. We rely on teams and players volunteering buzzer sets for the day, but there are no discounts for doing so.
Payments can be sent to my Venmo (@willmccurley) or my CashApp ($willmccurley2). The last four digits of my phone number are 4282. Cash or check payments on the day of the tournament are also acceptable. Checks should be made out to "Quiz Bowl at Auburn University."

We currently have only four teams signed up for ACRONYM 18 @ Auburn, with less than two weeks before the event. We encourage anyone who is interested to sign up with the Google Form in the original post.

This is a reminder that this tournament is open, anyone can go out and get their friends to sign up, no matter their familiarity with quiz bowl.
