ACE Quizbowl Camp Looking for Writers

While we have already contracted the writing for all of our main tournaments (three 20/20 tournaments, a singles event, and subject tournaments in History, Literature, Science, Fine Arts and RMP), we still have side tournaments to write. One of our three side tournaments is being written by our staff, but we thought that we'd solicit proposals for the other two events. Thus, the following announcement:

ACE Quizbowl Camp is seeking two writers for side events to be played at our 2011 camps. We are asking potential writers to submit a proposal for a single-subject tournament. Since these are small, optional events (apart from our more serious main tournaments), we're flexible about both the subject and breadth of these tournaments (last year we had both a broad academic topic (Fine Arts) and more specific non-academic topic (Rock & Roll)). Unlike our other camp tournaments, we'll consider proposals for both academic and non-academic subjects.

Specifics (including distribution, due dates, payment, etc.) will be negotiated via email.
