2024 Chicago Open Date Poll

This is a date poll for 2024 Chicago Open.

Forgot to set a deadline but get your votes in by the end of the month, we'll decide around then.

In predictably oafish fashion, I included two dates in the poll, August 10th and August 17th, that JinAh and I will not be able to make. Given this, I'd prefer to select July 27th or August 3rd; however, August 10th is winning in somewhat of a landslide, with 7 more votes than either of those dates currently. Is this just a coincidence that would buff out with more votes or do the neighboring weekends pose scheduling conflicts that could impact the field? I see that Lollapalooza is the weekend of the 3rd, for instance. Would appreciate input from the August 10th voters or anyone else.

I personally can't make August 3rd and would prefer the other August dates to July 27th, but my circumstance is a bit of a unique one (will be driving cross-country the last week of July and moving in the weekend of the 3rd).

Given the large demand for CO the past few years and the relatively small number of votes in the poll, I think it's likely many people will play no matter what weekend it's on. Plus, CO happens every year but you only head-edit once -- you deserve to pick a date that you can make.

Given the paucity of editing volunteers, I suspect you could head edit CO a lot if you wanted!
