California NASAT Teams - Taking Applications (2023)

Post by Arras Agility »

As in 2021 and 2022, California will not hold tryouts for our 2023 NASAT teams. Instead, a selection committee (composed of, at least, myself and Freddie O'Hara) will select the teams on a "body-of-work" basis following an open application - that is, prospective players will submit a form to apply, and we will select players based on tournament statistics and category coverage balance.

Players from anywhere in the state are encouraged to apply. We have no set number of spots; we will select players for as many teams as we think can be competitively viable at this level and which are manageable.

Players are asked to confirm at the time of application that they will be available to play the tournament, and that they are financially able and willing to pay for their portion of the entrance fee. Should this prove a financial difficulty, please contact one of us.

The application link is here: https://forms.gle/K2ZCUUGqHnn3B4vg6. Applications are due by midnight Pacific time on May 1, and we will form teams soon after.

Good luck!
