UAIS Spring Invitational (3/25/2023)

The Utica Academy for International Studies in Sterling Heights, Michigan will be hosting the 2023 UAIS Spring Invitational on Saturday, March 25, 2023. This tournament will use NAQT #218-A. We have an initial field cap of 24, but that may be limited or expanded due to the number of staffers available.

TOURNAMENT RULES & FORMAT
This tournament will use standard NAQT rules with timed matches of 10 minutes per half. The format of this tournament is yet to be determined and will depend on the field size. Teams will be guaranteed at least 8 matches through the day.

The tentative timing for the tournament will be from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

FEES:
Tournament fees are as follows:
First team: $90
Additional teams: $80

DISCOUNTS
Discount for a fully functional buzzer system (max 2 per team entered) -$10
Discount for a staffer -$20/staffer (Experienced Readers only)

PAYMENT:
Invoices will be delivered prior to the tournament date. Checks should be made out to "Utica Community Schools" or "UAIS" While we prefer that you bring them to the tournament and hand them in at registration, if this is not possible, you can mail the check to:
