CMST II @ UChicago (11/19/22)

I am pleased to announce that the University of Chicago will be hosting a mirror of CMST II on November 19, 2022.

I, Adam Fine, will be serving as tournament director. Unlike certain past events hosted by UChicago, this tournament will be adequately staffed. If you have any questions about the tournament, feel free to email me at afine2 at uchicago dot edu.

Fees
Base fee: $100
Buzzer discount: -$10 per working buzzer set
Staffer discount: -$20 per staffer (with working laptop)
Minimum fee: $60

Payment can be made via check, cash, or Venmo. If you need any paperwork filled out so that you can pay us, please email me.

Team formation and registration
This is an open tournament - an unofficial team formation spreadsheet can be found here.

To officially register for the tournament, please fill out this form.

If you are interested in staffing the tournament, please put your name down in the second tab of the team formation spreadsheet. Staffers will receive free lunch and will probably receive financial compensation, TBD depending on what UChicago allows.

Logistics
This post will be updated with more information about logistics once our room bookings are sorted. Expect a start time of something like 9 AM CST.

COVID Protocols
We will be following UChicago's COVID guidelines in effect at the time of the tournament. Current guidelines can be viewed here, but please note these are subject to change.

It will be - but notice that that does NOT include bouncebacks. Only the higher-value powers and neutral "negs."
