Taking Applications for Virginia 2022 NASAT Team Members

Post by DavidB256 »

Hello! The executive board of the UVA Academic Competition Club (Alana Dickey, Em Gunter, Charlotte Goeb, and myself) is interested in helping to assemble Virginia's 2022 NASAT team. We do not plan to host try-outs, but will instead judge applicants based on their performances at past tournaments. To apply, please email me at [email protected] with the following information before 11:59pm EDT on May 20:
  1. Full name
  2. School
  3. Year
  4. A statement confirming that you are confident of your eligibility, as described in the post linked above
  5. Best categories
  6. Preferred teammates (if applicable)
  7. Links to statistics reports from all tournaments that you have attended this school year
If there is sufficient interest from qualified players, then we will be happy to organize multiple teams. If paying $140 (one quarter of NASAT's $560 entry fee) is financially inhibitive for you, please let us know in your application email. We do not expect to be able to provide significant financial assistance, but will consider contributing on a case-by-case basis.
