Central Hardin High School, located in Cecilia, KY (right outside of Elizabethtown) is excited to announce that we are hosting the Central Hardin Academic Challenge on March 5, 2022.

We will have an opening player/coach meeting at 8:30 a.m. EST, with gameplay to begin at 9 a.m. EST.

This tournament will be a mirror of the CALISTO set. Information about the set, including other mirrors and the distribution, can be found at viewtopic.php?f=109&t=25155

We will play untimed rounds of 20 tossups and 20 bonuses, with 15 point powers and -5 point negs. There will be bouncebacks since we are in KY and it will be close to KAAC State. Team rosters may consist of up to six players, with no more than four players at a time. Teams with less than four players are welcome. Players cannot move between teams.

Play will be round robin pools in the morning, with re-bracketed afternoon pool play as well. All teams will be guaranteed at least 9 games.

We will seek PACE certification.

The initial field cap will be 24 teams, and we will consider expanding if there is interest and staff available past that field cap. Registration is on a first come, first serve basis.

Costs:
$70 for the initial team from a school, and $60 for any additional teams from a school.
There will be a -$10 discount per working buzzer system (that does not require a laptop/operator).
The minimum fee per team will be $50.
