The Quizbowl Resource Center

After whispers of interest, the University of Waterloo has decided to host an online mirror of The Bob Gibson Memorial Set on Sunday January 9th, 2022.

The tournament's opening meeting will start at 9:45 and games will start at 10:00 AM ET. Information about the set and a couple very detailed reviews from the mirror held in August are linked here. Teams and free agents can sign up with this form .The entry fee will be $10 CAD per player, payable either individually or as a team.

All free agent sign-ups will be listed here .

We have reached our expanded field cap of 12 teams. Logistics e-mails will be sent out to team contacts (or both teammates in the case of free agent teams) by end of day tomorrow with payment info etc...

Update: The tournament will be played Sunday January 9th, 2022 and will be played in pairs. The tournament is 7 rounds of power-marked tossups with bonuses. For more info about the set or the mirror hosted in August, see above.

I'm interested in playing! I can probably do alright on baseball, basketball, and particularly gridiron football, plus college football and (to an extent) basketball.

All free agents who have signed up via the sign up form are listed on the free agent google sheet with either contact info or as a member of a team. If you only indicated interest when we sent out a poll to figure out a date and tournament format, that was not the sign up form. If you give me a name, I would be glad to double check.

I didn't see the google sheet there, it looks like I'm on the second free agent team. Sorry for not being more thorough.
