BPtrivia Presents: BP Titans II, a Pop Culture Tournament

Hey all,

BPtrivia.com is happy to announce that we are brining back BP Titans, an online, buzzer-style Pop Culture Trivia tournament. BP Titans II is an online pop culture trivia tournament where teams of 4 compete against each other in a live, buzzer-style trivia match.

BP Titans II will run completely online on Saturday November 6, 2021 in two flights from 11 AM ET - 3 PM ET and 4 PM ET - 8 PM ET. A final match will be played at 8:30 PM ET.

Entry to BP Titans is $20 per player or $10 per player if they are a BP+ Member. You can register online for BP Titans here: https://www.bptrivia.com/titans/registration

Here are the "Sample Questions that were used in previous tournaments."

1. Though much more closely associated with another state, this man was born in Roswell, New Mexico where his father was stationed at the time. After the height of his musical popularity, he devoted a great deal of time to humanitarian and sustainability causes. He wrote the song “Babe, I Hate to Go,” which was renamed and recorded by Peter, Paul and Mary,(*) earning them their only #1 hit. This man performed one of his more notable songs during Game 1 of the 1983 World Series atop the Orioles dugout in Baltimore, where that song is still played during every 7th inning stretch. Though he is from neither West Virginia nor Colorado, he wrote the state songs for both of those states. For 10 points, name this 5-time Grammy host known for the songs “Thank God I'm a Country Boy,” “Rocky Mountain High,” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

3.
