PACE Integrity Policy for Online Tournaments

As quizbowl circuits across the country begin planning for the fall season, PACE recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to present difficulties on the return to in-person quizbowl. Due to state and other local guidelines, in-person competition may not be possible for some regions this fall.
To help tournament organizers, PACE is releasing an integrity policy adapted from the policy used at the 2021 NSC. We hope that these guidelines help save time and effort for both organizers of tournaments and players alike, and that competition integrity is maintained without presenting unreasonable obstacles for all tournament participants.
Any tournament is free to use this policy exactly as written by linking to our website, or taking the text and modifying it to match the needs of the tournament organizers. Tournaments are also welcome to continue using the PACE Honor Pledge.
