Am I right to assume that "UG up" eligibility means that players who have graduated college and are no longer affiliated with a university are eligible to play?

Yes, that is correct. The general rule is that as long as the player is, or in the past has ever been, eligible under ACF eligibility rules, then they are eligible for TBA.

What is the start time and approximately how long do you expect the tournament to last? The original post doesn't say.

We are planning on starting at 8 Central and estimate that, if we do end up doing 10 rounds, we will get pre-final games done between 4 and 5 Central. We are currently planning on doing an advantaged final, but this may change if we run long. We will update this as we get closer to the day of the tournament.

The set is now finished!

We have decided on a current limit of 12 teams. However, if we get more staffers, we would like to increase this limit. There are currently 5 teams registered, so sign up soon!

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for Trash Bowl Alabama. Be sure to sign up by 11:59PM CDT!

If your team has not already done so, be sure to include a contact email on the spreadsheet. Additionally, feel free to name yourselves whatever you want provided the name does not hurt others.

We are also looking for additional staffers with a working computer. Any interested staffers would be greatly appreciated.

Trash Bowl Alabama is running this Saturday, April 17th, and we will need 1-2 more staffers if we are to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible. Start time is 9AM Eastern with a staff meeting at 8:30AM and we will be doing 11 rounds. Pay will be $15 through Venmo.

If you are available and interested, please email [email protected] so we can get you set up for the day. Additionally, let me know whether you would prefer to be a moderator, scorekeeper or would feel comfortable doing both, though we will have final say on your appointment.

Congratulations to Uga Uga Uga Chaka for going undefeated 10-0 to win the tournament. Additional individual congratulations to Aidan Leahy, McKinnie Sizemore and Lev Bernstein for respectively scoring first, second, and third individually.

Thank you to everyone who participated in TBA. It was a lot of fun to make and get out there, so we hope you had fun and that you saw something you hadn't seen before (although I realize that might be for better or worse in some instances).

We do not anticipate a mirror, so the full set will be likely uploaded sometime soon.

Quizbowl at VCU has been playing this question set at practice and we are big fans! Any chance you will be hosting a 2022 version of this? :)

This set had a lot of interesting concepts. The execution could have maybe gone better but I'd also like to see another iteration.
