The New England mirror of IO SATURNALIA will be hosted by MIT virtually on Discord on Saturday, December 5th from 9 am to ~6 pm Eastern time.

This tournament is open to any New England single-college team, as well as single-college teams from neighbouring areas (e.g. Mid-Atlantic). High school students should play SATURNALIA instead. Although we are not restricting eligibility based on skill, this is intended as an “easy” tournament and we ask that players respect that before registering.

The registration fee for this tournament is set at a flat $85 per team. There is currently no staffing discount, although this may change. To register, please email me, jonsh [at] mit [dot] edu. Note that a credit or debit card will be required for payment. If this is absolutely infeasible for your team, mention this in your registration email so that we can work out an alternative.

We will be using (what appears to be becoming) the standard rules for online play, and relatively strict but also standard cheating and harassment rules. More details will be sent to registered teams; if some aspect particularly concerns you, feel free to ask here or by emailing me.

We just hit our current field cap of 16. If we get enough interest to reach another round number of teams, we may expand the field. We will lock registration relatively soon (probably one week/7 days out from the tournament), so if more teams are interested, please let me know soon.

Update: as of Sunday November 29th, 11:59 pm, registration is now closed.
