In the interest of full disclosure, the MSNCT field lists a team called "Barrington Scholars" without a city and state. This team is composed entirely of students from Station Middle School of Barrington, IL. They do not have official sanctioning or funding from the school district, thus, they've been asked to not use the school name. If anyone desires more details, I will answer such questions offline or via PM.

Congratulations to Aptakisic Junior High School (Buffalo Grove, Illinois), who defeated Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, Minnesota) 470-325 in the second game of an advantaged final to win the 2017 NAQT MSNCT! Middlesex Middle School (Darien, Connecticut) claimed third place with a 455-390 victory over The Miami Valley School (Dayton, Ohio).

Congratulations indeed! They ran a tough guantlet to claim this year's championship.
I also want to say how incredibly impressed I was with Isak Dai and Mounds Park. They were clearly a cut above MMS this year.
Thank you to NAQT for organizing another great tournament. My players and their parents had a wonderful and memorable experience.
