I hope to attend with Ward Melville, looking forward to another great tournament with such random lighting round topics as "A category about nothing" which featured Seinfeld 2 years ago, and the Pokemon category 2 years ago, as well as the Family Guy category last year. Are these lightning rounds house-written?

Not to mention the tossup on Finding Nemo that came up something like 4 times. But the Pokemon lightening round was excellent.

Kellenberg will be attending.

The Lightning Round that beats out all of these was most definitely Let's Kick It! '06.

Are we not getting a field update because the only teams attending are Bergen County, Kellenberg and us (Ward Melville) are the only ones attending? Those are the only teams I saw posting on this forum, and with no posts by HSW, those are the only schools I know are attending....

The year we went there were 70 teams, so I imagine that you can expect a similar field.

The "locals" on Long Island, save Kellenberg and HHH West, don't seem to travel much, so they may not read the board.

Last year there were over 100 teams. I expect similar numbers this year, 80-100 range. There are a TON of teams in the NYC Metro area that do not post on here.

As always, this was a fun tournament. Sure, the questions had a few kinks, but the atmosphere was very friendly and the 60 sec. rounds were a blast (although, as I mentioned on Saturday, I feel cheated out of Geoffrey Rush in the "Actors Initially" category).

I have only one quibble: did we really need what seemed like seven moderators per game to scorekeep/reset?

Props to SHP for being the worthy opponents they always are. Looking forward to next year!

I assume its ok to discuss questions since it doesn't appear it is being mirrored.

Was anyone annoyed by the wording of the Chernobyl question? It seemed to be asking for the town closest to the reactor that was completely deserted/radiated (Which is Pripyat) yet the answer was the name of the reactor itself.
