Maize Pages directory
Maize Pages directory
I was looking through the Maize Pages directory today, and the contact info for so many teams is well out of date. Just thought I'd post this to urge people to actually keep that info current. That is all.

The problem is not with the people who run the Maize Pages, though. They respond with lightning speed.

Oh, yeah I know. I meant I was encouraging people to submit current info. Here is the link by the way: http://www.collegequizbowl.org/Maize/directory.html
Much appreciated in the call for submissions. I was planning to do this next week after I felt more certain that many schools were back in session and many clubs were in order. I have a big list of updates to do in the next couple of days as well, so if I have not gotten to your team yet and you have sent me information, please know it's on to-do list for this week.
Thank you for your continued support of Maize Pages.

Thank you and Team Confirmed Dates...
A major thanks to all of you who so quickly replied to my posting and sent me new team contact information for The Maize Pages. With your help, I was able to quickly bring the Directory page up to speed start to get a sense of the active and inactive programs.
With this in mind, I have made the decision that any program listed on The Maize Pages Directory with a "Confirmed" tag later than December 2005 will be deleted from the directory on October 10, 2007. This will have the benefit of streamlining the directory to just the currently active teams and giving the collegiate quiz bowl community a better sense of its true current size and scope.
If you would like to see if your team is one of the teams listed, please check http://www.collegequizbowl.org/Maize/directory.html and look for the dark red highlights on the Confirmed Date. If you would like to confirm your team, please just shoot me an email at [email protected] saying something to the effect of "Everything checks out" and I'll update the tag. This is especially important for teams which use a common contact account for their team and do not change the names on the directory that often. We have about seven teams that fit this bill, some of which I know are still pretty active, so if you could take a look that would really help me (and by extension, everyone else) out.
Thank you for your past and continuing support.

(edited to move the deletion date back to October 10 to allow me to catch up.)
