RESULTS: Rowdy Raider Invtiational (4/14) @ Wright State

Post by djones »

Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio is proud to announce the Inaugural Rowdy Raider Invitational, which will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007. We will be using NAQT set IS-62. This tournament will likely draw some of the best teams in the State of Ohio, and we would love to have some out of state participation as well.

The tournament will begin at 9 am, and each participating team is guaranteed eight matches.

Registration is limited to the first 24 teams, and each school is allowed to bring up to three teams.

Cost is $60 for your first team, and $40 each for your second and third teams. There is a $10 discount for buzzers, limit 1 per team and 2 sets per school.

To register online, please visit http://www.wright.edu/~david.jones/ and click on the link for the Rowdy Raider Invitational.

David,
I did our registration and put in a PO for payment today for the tournament and for our hotel rooms, so everything should pan out in a few weeks here.

See you on the 14th.

David, as I said on the other board, great tournament. We got to match up against some of the best teams around (minus two players, but still with our best two)....

Congrats to Walnut Hills for beating Tipp in the finals, and congrats to Dunbar A and B for being semifinalists.

Question: Were you on Dunbar's A team? Or are you their coach? I'm sorry for being so forward, but I'm just trying to put a face to a name  .

Haha, no need for that. Just wanting to know which one you were. In case you were wondering who I was, I'm Steven, Fisher Catholic's captain. We played in the morning, that's why I was curious. Thanks

Yes, a very nice tournament. With Dunbar, Spotswood, and several of the good Ohio teams there I expected good competition, and I got it.
