Hello quiz bowlers! The University of Pittsburgh is proud to present its annual spring high school tournament, BATTLE OF THE BURGH on April 6th, 2024.
Date and Time: April 6th, 2024. Opening meeting at 9:00, first round beginning at 9:30.
Location: University of Pittsburgh, Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15213
Registration and Fees: Please be aware that you will need to pay on the morning of the tournament. Payments must be made in CASH ONLY. Failure to provide payment will result in disqualification from the tournament.
$80 per team
-$10 per working buzzer set
-$10 per staffer
-$10 per 150 miles traveled one way
-$10 per additional team

Please note that registration fills up very fast, so be sure to register ASAP!
Team and roster size: The field will be capped at 16 teams, although this is subject to change up to 18 based on how many staffers we receive. We are asking for at least one adult chaperone per school.
Food: There will be no food provided, but there will be a lunch break around the middle of the tournament. There are several restaurants near the location, and information on places to eat will be provided as part of the registration confirmation.
Code of Conduct: Everyone attending the tournament will be expected to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the PACE Code of Conduct (http://www.pace-nsc.org/nsc-code-of-conduct). This includes players, coaches, parents, spectators, and any others attending the tournament. Anyone who witnesses a violation should reach out to either myself ([email protected]) or our president, Divya ([email protected]). If anyone is found to have violated these guidelines, they will be removed from the tournament.
