Howdy Folks. My name is Alex, one of the co-captains of the HIghtstown Quizbowl Team. We are absolutely ecstatic to present to you the first ever RAM invitational to be held on January 20th, 2024. Here is all of the information:

Location: 25 Leshin Lane, Hightstown NJ 08520 (This is the address to HIghtstown Highschool)

Date: 1/20/24

Question Set: SET: NAQT set IS-223A.

Teams: We can physically host up to 36 teams. However, we are going to have a soft cap at 24 teams for now and, if sufficient demand warrants and we are able to secure sufficient readers and buzzers, will up the number of teams to 30 with a hard cap of 36 teams.

Rounds: We are planning on a round robin of preliminary rounds in the morning (depending on number of teams) followed by lunch and then playoffs to follow for all. We guarantee each team at least 10 rounds.

Start TIme: Check in/registration between 8 - 8:30 with a moderator meeting at 8:45 and a welcome at 8:30 with round 1 to start at 9:00. We aim to be done with the tournament between 5:00 - 6:00.

Food: For lunch, teams will be able to head into the downtown portion of Hightstown (we will provide directions if needed) and purchase food there. Please remember to bring your own money for food or bring food.

Fees:
$90 for first team
$80 for subsequent teams
-$15 Buzzer
-$10 Reader
Minimum Registration Fee: $65/Team

Please understand that posting on the forum does not constitute officially registering nor any official communication with the team. Email is the best way to communicate any possible concerns or questions.

PAYMENT: Please bring cash payments or make all checks out to "Hightstown High School Quizbowl Team" and bring with you to the tournament. Payment is required by tournament time. If you require a pre-tournament invoice in order to have a check cut, please let us know ASAP or by January 20th so that we can send you the invoice in sufficient time.
