Hi all,

I am hosting an online "main site" mirror of TELEOLOGY 2 on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

Sign-up sheet for teams, staff, and free agents is here.

We'll play on Zoom + Buzzin Live. Field cap will depend on the number of sign-ups. We will be playing all 10 packets of the set. Cost is $20 per player.

Whichever team wins this mirror will get to choose the next side event I work on after TELEOLOGY 3.

We are about two weeks out from this event, looking forward to everyone playing! It would be awesome to have a few more sign-ups so we could get up to 10 teams (or even twelve?). I think a lot more folks who haven't signed up yet would greatly enjoy this set. Free agents who are currently signed up should consider reaching out to join short-handed teams or forming their own teams soon.

I could also use another staffer or two if the field expands further.

Hi! Just wondering what time you're planning on having the tournament start?

To account for various U.S. time zones, we will start at 10 AM ET/7AM PT on Saturday. Assuming we get up to 12 teams, I'd like to run an 11-game round-robin, so folks should plan for a longer day than most online side events.

We are currently sitting at 11 teams signed up with two free agents. If the free agents would like to form 12th team, I'd be grateful and would then close the field. Shorthanded teams are free to add additional players up until we play.

Now that the signup sheet has 12 teams, the field is officially closed. I encourage the remaining free agents to join up with the shorthanded teams. Teams and staff will get an email near the middle of this week.

Congrats to the team How I Terrorized My Thighs into Massive Growth! (Mike Bentley, Kenji Shimizu, John Lawrence, Matt Lafer) for winning this tournament by defeating Bruce "Cube" Alexander's Jelly Belly Pet Rat Park (John Brownstein, Tejas Raje, Victor Pavao, Aseem Keyal) in a one-game final after both teams went 10-1 in the round robin. Thanks again to everyone who played and staffed!
