One dot spring semester tournament

Post by AKKOLADE »

I was going through the spring semester schedule and everything is at least three dots in difficulty except for Booster Shot and the ICT/SCT sequence for D2 teams.

If IQBT produced a one-dot difficulty tournament for the spring semester, would there be an interest in mirroring it? I would like to do outreach for new college teams in the spring semester, but it's difficult when there isn't an event for new teams to go to until the fall.

We would most likely attend a 1-dot spring semester event if it was nearby us.

Is the jump from 1 dot to 1.5 dots sufficiently high that CREEK+ and DMA wouldn't meet this need for most interested/eligible players? It seems like most circuits have not yet made plans to mirror both of those sets, which are already produced and ready to go, assuming the mirror window for each runs into the spring.

DMA already has/had seven mirrors across the country. CREEK+ has/had six. Between the two sets, I think there's one in the spring semester. Those have already been used across large chunks of the country.
