ACRONYM 16 Premiere: Minnesota, 2/18/23

PQB will be hosting the open-level premiere of ACRONYM 16 on Saturday, February 18 at the University of Minnesota. Again, this is on a Saturday, unlike previous years. Note that this is separate from the local high school event, which is the following Saturday. If you're in high school, you should play in that one.

I'm considering going to this wonderful tournament for some mild fun. What is the U of Minnesota's current vaccination/mask/Carsten Gehring policy?

We are not able to require vaccinations for campus visitors per UMN policy; the implementation of a masking policy is up to the tournament director (Erik), but there is nothing from UMN that is currently requiring masks for events like there was last year; UMN does not have a solidified Carsten Gehring policy so that would also be up to the tournament director (Erik).

This was a fun and very well-run tournament--thanks for organizing it and thanks to all who staffed! And thanks for doing it on a Saturday, which meant that we didn't have to drive back home through the cold, dark, moose-filled Upper Peninsula at 2 am!
