2020 WORKSHOP at UT Austin (02/29/2020)

I am pleased to announce that the Texas site of 2020 WORKSHOP will be held at UT Austin on Saturday, February 29th 2020. I will be the tournament director for this tournament. Please direct any questions about this site to me at [email protected].

Question set:
This tournament will be played on 2020 WORKSHOP. Full information about the set can be found here:

Location:
The tournament will take place in Mezes Hall, with team check-in beginning at 8 in Mezes 1.102 and gameplay beginning at 9.

Eligibility and Team Formation:
This tournament is a closed tournament, so rosters are restricted to college and high school teams from the same school. No open or chimera teams will be allows.

Rules:
This tournament will follow ACF’s official gameplay rules.

Registration:
To register, please email myself at [email protected] with 1) your team name and number of teams, 2) the number of buzzers 3) staffers with laptops you will be bringing, and 4) whether you traveled more than 200 miles one-way (only for teams from one same school).

Fees:
Base fee: $125
Buzzers: –$10 per functional system
Staffers: –$10 per staffer with functional laptop
Travel: –$10 per 200 miles traveled one-way
Minimum fee per team is $75.

Thank you to everyone who came out and played today! Texas A won in the first game of an advantaged final over Texas B. Texas C and Rice A rounded out the top bracket.

The all-tournament team was:

3. Robert - Strake Jesuit 56.67 ppg
4. Jaskaran - Texas B 47.50 ppg
5. Ryan - Texas A 40.83 ppg
