The field has reached 12 teams and to ensure that we have adequate staffing, we will be closing registration at this time. Any team interested in still signing up can be added to a wait list and we will update you if a space opens up. We look forward to seeing everyone that has signed up on Sept. 21. A logistics email will be sent early next week.

The PRHS Quiz Bowl staff would like to congratulate Phillips Academy A for winning the PAQT3 event today at Plymouth Regional High School in New Hampshire. Phillips lived up to their pre-season ranking by running the table, going 11-0 on the day. In an exciting playoff game for second place, Acton-Boxborough nipped Lexington A 335-320 in a back-and-forth tie-breaker match for second place, going 10-2 on the day. Lexington A finished third at 9-3, while Boston Latin and Plymouth (NH) rounded out the top 5 at 7-4 respectively. A/B's Basil Sousounis ran away with the individual scoring, averaging 141.3 points per game, followed by Karsten Rynearson (Phillips), Rhys Harris (Plymouth), Charles Yang (Lexington), and Nathan Sheffield (Belmont A) rounding out the top five. As always, a huge thank you goes out to all the staffers who came to help us today. These events wouldn't be possible without their efforts, and also to the students and parents who played and watched the matches today. This is a great group of students competing here in New England.
