CO matchmaking

Post by theMoMA »

Split from the CO date poll. --Mgmt.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm planning to take the bar exam on July 30, 31, and August 1. The July 20 date is probably my best shot to be able to make it to CO, which I'd really like to do, so please host it then!

I'm looking for teammates who are okay with the possibility that I won't be able to make it if a last-minute studying emergency comes up. I'd like to play on a competitive team, preferably with people I haven't had a chance to play with before. Let me know if you're interested! My email is [email protected].

I'm also looking for teammates for this, preferably people who know things like science, and who I haven't played with before.

I'm a free agent for this event. Send an email to [email protected] if you're interested in teaming. Science knowledge might be helpful.

I'm also a free agent for CO. If you're interested in teaming up (not necessarily winning), you should email me at [email protected]. Science knowledge is probably helpful.

I'm going to tentatively sign up. My participation hinges on the same conditions as Andrew's, as I am also taking the bar at the end of July. I don't care if the team is competitive or not, but don't expect me to be a significant contributor on a contending team.

I might not be able or willing to actually attend CO, but I'm still up for joining a team looking to hit the -$100 packet deadline on the chance I go. At worst, you'll be forced to spend half a day with me. At best, you'll get free labor on your packet.

I guess he's still under the effects of our trauma of last year of being unable to answer anything regarding philosophy and social science?

I can't say if I can play CO or not yet.

I am interested in potentially playing CO as a free agent. I know physics and things.

I would also love to bum a ride from Minneapolis, if anyone plans to drive.

I, like Carsten would like to tentatively try and hit the $-100 packet discount, am not 100% on going yet and don't care at all about competitiveness, only that I don't dislike you as a person and vice-versa, so if you want a "proven" 7 PPG...

Update: Need a 4th who likes getting their questions done by April 28th. Bio-chem prefered

I'm advertising myself as a free agent for this. I once played 3 rounds of CO trash and scored 45 PPG (neither repeat performance nor accuracy of recollection guaranteed). Otherwise I'm happy to read.

Hi. I haven't played in a while, but I'll be back in the country for a meeting in Boston and would like to drop by Chicago to meet some old quizbowl friends.
I can write questions in a proficient and timely manner, and I suppose can answer a few things here or there. Please let me know if a slot is available.

Gordon and I are still looking for teammates, and I already wrote a packet for the first deadline, so anyone who ends up not having time to write a packet is welcome to join us. Just email me at [email protected]
