Arcadia might be sending 1 team. Maybe a couple more (max 3) if the rest of our first/second-year novices show interest.

Actually, can I ask what the reasoning behind holding this tournament on a Sunday is?

Part of what we're worried about is having enough responsible members coming to make sure the underclassmen on our team don't get into any sort of trouble, and a couple of the trustworthy AND eligible players can't attend because of church. Moving the date to a Saturday, if possible, could solve a lot of attendance problems.

I've heard that Torrey Pines is going to have some issues with getting supervision due to the date as well, so moving the tournament forward one day would address the concerns of more than one school.

I agree with Jason completely. I don't see any possible conflicts with the 21st, so maybe a date change to Saturday would help many teams (and your attendance).

Sorry, but we are unable to change this date at this point as we have already contacted many schools. The UCSD High School Honors Math Competition falls on the 21st, as well as various other conflicts. Sunday would be the best option for us. We understand that some people are not able to make Sundays, and we apologize for this inconvenience, but we hope that we will still be able to attract a sufficient number of players.

Alright, we understand. Irvine might send at least 2 teams to this tournament depending on how our sophomores feel.

Del Norte (2) <- Newish Team
San Dieguito (3) <-Newish Team
Mt. Carmel (3) <- Totally New Team

Nice job getting a number of newish/new teams to come. Hopefully some of the other usual suspects will sign up too... and have their non-novice members come read instead of play. I'll be there to read.
