Not enraged. That certainly works for us.DumbJaques wrote:This seems like it will enrage the fewest amount of people. I don't at all have a problem with not running anything Saturday evening, since that was the original plan anyway and the campus will be difficult beyond belief to navigate from about 4 to 9 pm. Does that sound suitable to people?

I definitely want to play that, but you can send them to me if someone else doesn't volunteer as we'll be using my laptop to read on Sunday (or you can just retrieve them from your email then).

You should receive it (with instructions that will hopefully allow it to be run without re-locating all of the audio file paths) within an hour or two.DumbJaques wrote:That you can definitely send that to me unless half of the distribution is wu tang clan.

Chris, in case for some reason you check this board before your e-mail, I have solved your scheduling conundrum and you should check your e-mail to find the solution.

So VCU+Weiner won this in the first game of an advantaged final, going in with two losses to UVA's three. Approximately after that Penn, then Yale, and then maybe Maryland. This was a fun, hard experience with lots of wacky and off-the-wall ideas, some of which worked better than others. Thanks to Chris Ray, Jeff Amoros, et al. for making it work!
A bunch of side events also happened, incl. the seeding round of the music quiz (John got 1st, followed by Kevin 2nd, and Rafael of Columbia 3rd), Before and After (?), Wild Kingdom (shootout, ?) and some RPGs (?).

Columbia's stats are wrong. The last 2.5 games Columbia A was just Dan Passner because the rest of us had to catch our bus.

Round 1 - VCU v Columbia B - Sean got the TU not me
Round 4 - VCU v UVa - Sean got the power not me
Round 10 - VCU v UVa - Sean got the TU not me
In addition, these were the packets used (in order from 1st to 14th round). It would be nice if this could be included in the SQBS Web Report (you can just paste this list into the appropriate screen, if I recall correctly):

The stats discussion, which stopped being germane to the MO mirror, has been moved here.

Re: DATE CHANGE: Minnesota Open Mirror at Maryland (11/21/10)
I don't know what the stats for the music listening were, and while I'm attempting to locate people who have the stats from Before and After, I can't really imagine why anyone would really care.
I'm pretty sure whichever MAQT member took possession of the Wild Kingdom stats has already departed for whatever godforsaken corner of the earth he/she originated from, so we'll just have to wait until after the Thanksgiving break to relive any Magyarosaurus-induced glory.
The stats of the video game mirror were carved into a fragment of a chair leg that was splintered following an unfortunate incident involving endosymbiosis during a UMD-Penn game of MO.* They're not so much stats in the traditional sense as they are a living record of the anguished cries of David Seal and Paul Marchsteiner.
*Details are sketchy but it is speculated that Dominic Machado's mysterious absence following round 8 may have been the result of his phagocytosis by someone on the Maryland team.
Also, this thread blows. Future posts that are neither substantive nor personally amusing to me will be subject to vandalism by the sentient portion of Dominic still struggling for survival in my shoulder.

I certainly hope that in the absurd mongrel this thread has become in the last day or so, nobody is impugning Maryland for anything like this. It's been like a day and a half since someone noted a couple of pretty minor issues in the stats, which I just corrected. If Andrew were making these comments in, say, the Penn Bowl thread from last year (were playoff stats ever posted for that?), I'd understand. But if you're wondering why people aren't taking your posts seriously, dude, it's probably because they seem to be in response to 25 points between Eric and Dominic/Sean and Cody and a bit of Phantom Marnold. I understand that's not your intention, but this seems like an odd platform from which to wage this campaign. The attitude of simply posting and forgetting stats is an extension of the problematic attitude that some schools take, which basically forgets that teams spend time, effort, and money to play these tournaments and deserve better than half-hearted hosts.
Also, this thread blows. Future posts that are neither substantive nor personally amusing to me will be subject to vandalism by the sentient portion of Dominic still struggling for survival in my shoulder.

I remember that John Lawrence won with something like 346, i.e. over the Dees line. Kevin Koai and Rafael from Columbia* also broke 300. IIRC I was fifth with 244.DumbJaques wrote:I don't know what the stats for the music listening were
