National Ocean Sciences Bowl North Carolina Regional

Moderator--please feel free to move to regular season tournaments; I placed it here because it isn't really academic (see Misc HSQB description).

For what it's worth, here are the quick results from the eighth NCOSB (aka Blue Heron Bowl) at NC State today:

1. East Carteret (Beaufort, NC)
2. Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
3. Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC)
4. Washington (Washington, NC)

East Carteret will receive a bid to compete in the National Ocean Sciences Bowl in April in Biloxi, Mississippi.

I don't know any details, but the TJ team won the incarnation of the Ocean Science Bowl that they attended.

VA's regional was on February 12. TJ beat Princess Anne in the final, winning an all expenses paid trip to distant Chevy Chase, MD.
