The 2010 Bulldog Brawl at Cedar Shoals (Jan 30, 2010)

Cedar Shoals HS in Athens, Georgia, will be hosting the 2010 edition of the Bulldog Brawl at Cedar Shoals on Saturday January 30, 2010. At this time, we are limiting the field to 30 teams with a single elimination playoff. Some details will be tweaked until January 30th, but, for the most part, the format from the previous years will remain the same (which means the return of power TUs).

Fees:
$70 for one, $130 for two, $180 for three, $40 for each additional team thereafter
-$5 discount for bringing a qualified reader (preferably an adult or college aged, for at least the prelims)- limit two (or -$10)*
*Doing so may allow us to expand the field to more teams.

Congrats to Chattahoochee A for winning the 2010 Bulldog Brawl at Cedar Shoals. Brookwood A was 2nd, with Lakeside 3rd and Norcross 4th.

The full stats are on the Scobo link listed above. We're trying to figure out something with the playoff standings. For some reason they don't look right, so we may repost them soon.

26 teams came to the event, making this once again the largest quizbowl tournament in NE Georgia. We look forward to Chattahoochee going for its fifth Brawl title at the 2011 Brawl, tentatively scheduled for Jan 29, 2011.
