Man, we are so much better this year as a quizbowl team, but still so freaking bad at this. I don't even want to publish our score.

Ahh I did this in 4th grade. Is it still like huddle around a computer and answer multiple choice trivia questions?

Barrington Station scored in the low 1500's in the MS KMO (can't remember the exact score now and I don't have the paper with me). It seemed to me like it was a little tougher this year, though that may be directly related to using a team of mostly 6th graders.

With a 1st place finish, I'd say it worked well.

I have heard that anyone participating for Blair was told to shut up unless they knew the answer, then just shout it out.

No, because it doesn't exist...

Now, there is a Lexington Catholic, Lexington Christian, Tates Creek, Sayre, Bryan Station, Lafayette, Henry Clay, and Paul Laurence Dunbar in Lexington, KY...but no Lexington High School. I'd have to say that's probably a typo and is actually a Lexington High School in some other state.

Apparently Prince George's County is better at Knowledge Masters than quizbowl. I've only seen two or three PG teams at pyramidal tournaments.

There aren't that many non-Montgomery County teams in Maryland who play pyramidal quizbowl regularly to begin with. Is there anyone besides Hammond and Centennial?

Southside only competes in the spring KMO. It's the most fun shouting match of the year.

Oh, the spect-auk-ular memories from doing this back when I was in High School. I remember we always got out of class for like 2-3 periods and sometimes got pizza. The shouting was quite fun too
