I won't be involved, but there will be some (likely 1) Ottawa teams coming. Aaron's in charge, and I've offered to lend him one buzzer set.

So what, someone's going to get locked in a Sharpshooter while the moderator stops reading questions before the match ends because the TD started screaming "Ring the damn bell!"?maxis7 wrote:This year's theme is SATURDAY NIGHT RUMBLE: WWE vs. UFC!!!!

Well, it's being held in the wrong province for anyone to be promised the title beforehand, only to lose it in a heartbreakingly close match.

Look, when Canadian wrestlers are evil, they're announced as being from Canada. When they're good guys, they're announced is living in an American city. Ergo, all of Canada is evil, and you don't need to be in Montreal to screw someone.

Great! Buzzers will be especially welcome since we currently have only 3.bsmith wrote:I won't be involved, but there will be some (likely 1) Ottawa teams coming. Aaron's in charge, and I've offered to lend him one buzzer set.
That would be more like NAQT's old rule of cutting off questions mid-flow when the clock ran out. I'm glad they changed that.FredMorlan wrote:the moderator stops reading questions before the match ends because the TD started screaming "Ring the damn bell!"?

Guelph will likely be bringing 3-4 teams to this. We may or may not have 1 buzzer system and 1 moderator. Thanks!

- University of Ottawa (distance, 1 buzzer, players registered)
- University of Rochester aka "TORONTO ROCK CITY" (distance, players registered)
- University of Waterloo (1 buzzer)
- Guelph University A

- McMaster University A (1 buzzer, 1 moderator)
- McMaster University B
- Queen's University A (distance, 2 buzzers, players registered)
- Queen's University B (distance, players registered)

IMPORTANT: Please think of CREATIVE NAMES for your teams upon registration other than the boring "U of T A" and "U of T B" <barfs!> ;^)
