I had no idea what Chris was doing while reading/scorekeeping the two rounds we played in his room. They were the two rounds that took the longest to play of our day. He often missed announcing whether a question earned a 15 or 10 (unless it was obvious) and on both games, the score that i kept was different from his. But i decided not to argue, considering that it pretty much didn't matter.

So, yeah, it was just your regular old 20-question round. I believe they had one neg, or at least, that would make more sense (considering we got 6 TUs and they got 13 i believe).
Dude, what are you talking about? What do you mean you have no idea what I was doing? I'm pretty sure I was reading packets, and if there's a stat error it was likely because someone hit the nine key instead of the zero key, something that I obviously would have no control over. I also did call out 15, whether you heard it or not. If your score was different, it was wrong, and during the score checks both teams agreed with me - if you didn't, all you have to do is point it out, rather than sit in the corner and then pout about it online for no reason. The games in that room ran behind because most of them got started late as I tried to enter stats in between rounds, and was a bit slower than my normal speed owing to my lack of sleep. Acting like the 4-5 minutes extra it took ruined your tournament experience is dumb. Given your behavior in regards to reading, I find it extra surprising that how I read at this tournament really bothered you.

EDIT:
I'll ask Jeremy to change the stats in that game ASAP.

I also seem to recall quite a lot of conversation during those matches that you either facilitated of participated in. Not that it was a big deal, but it certainly contributed too the length of those 2 matches.

I truly have no idea what it's about, but considering Chris Ray has never been in a room in which i have moderated, that really can't be what this is about. I just wanted that comment explained since it was confusing and odd.

I have sent you an email detailing my concerns about that from fellow staffer perspective, and discussion of it does not belong on the board. As soon as the questions are posted, I hope you will make use of the discussion thread to point out the objects you had to the tournament material.

Just looking at the first packet, I'm noticing the very bonus variability that was avoided so well in TIT: for example, you have Baron Samedi and Family of Saltimbanques as third parts; you also have bonuses where it seems thiols or Farnsworth House or "wavefunction" (given the word "waves") are the third parts; you also have bonuses like Shiva/ Kali/ Parvati or Rue Morgue/ Pit and the Pendulum/ Tell-Tale Heart.

Ok, a discussion thread has been created for this set, so all question discussion should go there.

I want to cross-post my message of appreciation to Ike Jose, who really helped us out by just suddenly offering to freelance a packet for us. Ike is the man.

It seems a little disingenuous to bring up an issue and then refuse to release details because they don't belong on the board. I'll agree that the latter is probably the correct stance, but with this being the stance, I think it would have been better to not bring it up in the first place. Not defending all Mr. C's posts/points, but as things stand, his reputation has been maligned publicly without the public having the information with which to make their own judgment.

Henry Gorman- he and his teammate adopted the names of their two players that weren't there, as did my team.

Nah, I played as a non-teammate who wasn't there and Neeraj Vijay played as me.
