Call for Science Co-Editor(s) in Mid/Late Fall

Post by No Rules Westbrook »

Well, it's come to my attention that Eric Mukherjee, in addition to being a first year med student, has a substantial number of editing assignments already on his slate. So, unfortunately, I don't think he's a very realistic choice for editing a submission event with me for the mid/late fall.

So, I'm looking for one or more people of decent experience who would like to edit and write science for a nationals-difficulty open event. It is submission, but I'd want people to write a good number of packets prior to the submission editing period. Great experience working alongside one of the greatest editors and personalities in the business! Send all resumes and cover letters to [email protected] (by which I mean, just email me and ask).

Alternatively, if no suitable candidate emerges, how do people feel about a 17/17 no science tournament!

I think just for kicks you should do a 20/20 tournament where you proportionally increase everything but science - really, all you'd need to do is add a random 1/1 to the current ACF without science distribution. I've always talked about wanting to see this tournament happen just so us non-science people can see what happens for once (and no, I'm not saying we should get rid of science at anything else). Please take this opportunity to sate the masses, Ryan!

Yeah, I could give a 20/20 expansion of no-science a shot, if we go that route...might give more opportunities for things like "other arts" to shine.

20/20 no science might be an interesting experiment.

I'm always up for writing bio and chem, but no so much for those other categories.

Everyone's heard the Anti-Flag version of this poem, right? I think this is the YouTube link, although the site isn't working for me at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsWPerNBRbU

This topic speaks blasphemy. If you take science, all I have left are common link myth tossups on animals.
