Final Date Poll: Illinois Side Event Weekend
We are deciding between these two weekends. Please try to vote for both options (even if you have a preference) if you are able to make either, and feel free to reply to this thread or message me to voice any concerns, questions, comments.

Re: Final Date Poll: Illinois Side Event Weekend
Done with finals so I'm working on this now. Seems like the more popular date is July. My own opinion at the moment is the August date has the benefit of giving us more time to prepare logistically and the likelihood that more sets are completed / polished by that time. I'm willing to hear opinions each way though.
All that said: Last call for votes. I'll have a date set this Monday.

Re: Final Date Poll: Illinois Side Event Weekend
I have no opinion on these two dates. By that August date, you're probably tripping up a fair number of folks who are going back to school and who have already started classes, I would guess. On the other hand, you're correct that there's a stronger chance the sets will be done by August.

Re: Final Date Poll: Illinois Side Event Weekend
At the risk of perhaps being presumptive, it seems that:
1. The most popular choice by a significant margin is the July date.
2. Based on the reluctance to just make this in July and some of the comments in this thread, the UIUC people would prefer August.
