Re: Steven Pinker's Rational, Scientific Nationals Barrel

Post by jmarvin_ »

real serious mathematically supported predictions:
  • even after the tournament has run its course, nobody is sure whether Berkeley is better than the top east coast / midwest teams
  • OSU loses a game it really shouldnt have because of negs
  • archaeology tossup on turkey
  • another archaeology tossup, not about turkey, which everyone negs with turkey
thats all ive got

MSU both wins a game we shouldn't have won and loses a game we shouldn't have lost

Who will win? Who will not win? Post your thoughts below!

EDIT: or above, thanks a ton forums software

DOUBLE EDIT: jokes are okay, just try to use this thread for something resembling an actual prediction about either of the national tournaments.

I would, uh, settle for Image

I predict that Cambridge ruins a title-contender's day, possibly more than one. And maybe other peoples'!

We've just gotten in touch with the waitlist teams to see who can attend on short notice, if anyone. Several teams near the top of the waitlist are local. Of course, if there is interest from multiple teams we will stick to the waitlist order.

I honestly think your teams are better than ours, but since we're on the subject of last year's ICT...

Not to rain on some good-natured shit-talking, but let's not pretend the circumstances are the same as 2017 ICT, either.
