Chicago Open 2021 Team Formation Thread

Post by naan/steak-holding toll »

Hi all!

Since it's a new year and peoples' plans may have changed, I figured it'd be best to have a new thread and spreadsheet for team formation. Players are encouraged to post here if looking for teammates and should list teams they have formed on this spreadsheet, including whether their current team is actively seeking free agents as teammates.

Note that these do not count as official signups. Official signup forms for playing and staffing will be provided when we are able to confirm hosting.

As a note on difficulty, for those seeking to play their first Chicago Open, we anticipate that the set will be similar to the 2014, 2015, and 2019 editions of the tournament in terms of difficulty, but somewhat less conservative in answerline selection.

We look forward to seeing you!

Our team of Zach Foster, Eric Wolfsberg, and myself are looking for a fourth player, ideally someone who has read a book.

Please contact me if you're interested; I'm aware that the date might be a deciding factor for some folks (it might be for me as well).

Provided that this tournament isn't on the last weekend of August, I'm interested in attending. I'm currently a free agent; if anyone needs a beliefs and/or classics player, PM me or message me on FB.

Chris Ray has had to drop from our team, so if you're still looking for a team, we have an open spot.

Rafael Krichevsky and I have headed in the wrong direction and are now down to two. If there’s anyone out there looking to play CO on a whim, let us know, we’d be happy to have you.
