Gameplay Rules
The tournament will take place virtually on Discord. We will be requiring players to have functional cameras during all matches. If this is not possible, players must request an exception before the tournament date. This tournament will follow ACF’s official gameplay rules for online tournaments, which can be found here.
Eligibility

Players with extensive quizbowl experience are encouraged to help staff.
You are not eligible for this tournament if you meet any of the following criteria:
You have ever scored more than 60 points per game at a quizbowl tournament (excluding middle school tournaments).
You have made the playoffs at HSNCT or top 32 at NSC.
You have played ICT (DI or DII) or ACF Nationals.
Registration
Please email [email protected] with the subject line "[Your School] Registration for 2021 Spring Novice @ Berkeley" with the following information:
1) the number of teams you will be sending (with rosters if possible)
2) the emails of the staffers you will be providing
3) and the total expected cost

$50 for teams new to quizbowl (defined as having not played a tournament in the 2018-19 or 2019-20 seasons)
-$25 per trained staffer
