I am pleased to announce that the Texas site of Fall Open 2019 will be held at UT Austin on Saturday, November 16th, 2019. I will be the tournament director for this tournament. Please direct any questions about this site to me at [email protected].

Location:
The tournament will take place in Mezes Hall, with team check-in beginning at 8 in Mezes 1.102 and gameplay beginning at 9.

Eligibility and Team Formation:
This tournament is a true open tournament, so all players and team conformations are allowed. A team formation spreadsheet can be found here:

Rules:
This tournament will follow ACF’s official gameplay rules.

Registration:
To register, please email myself at [email protected] with 1) your team name and number of teams, 2) the number of buzzers 3) staffers with laptops you will be bringing, and 4) whether you traveled more than 200 miles one-way (only for teams from one same school).

Fees:
Base fee: $120
Buzzers: –$10 per functional system
Staffers: –$15 per staffer with functional laptop
Travel: –$10 per 200 miles traveled one-way
Minimum fee per team is $80.

Hi everyone, this tournament will be happening this weekend. The field is now closed at 6 teams and a logistics email was sent out to all team contacts and free agents (who've been assigned). See everyone in Austin on Saturday!

One important last minute change, because of a late update from UT's room reservation department, this tournament will take place in Parlin Hall instead of Mezes Hall as originally announced. Opening meeting will be in Parlin Hall 302. All team contacts got an email reflecting this change.

This tournament happened today! Thanks to everyone who attended and to Jason, Graham, and Ryan for serving as moderators.

Texas A went 10-0 to win the tournament without needing a final, Texas B+ finished in 2nd at 7-3, Ignation Nation finished in 3rd place, and the aptly-named "Fourth Place" finished in... 4th place. Benji Nguyen ("Fourth Place") was the top individual scorer, and William Golden, Jaskaran Singh, Adam Escandel, and Brad McClain rounded out the top 5.
