We are looking to mirror UAQ online over Discord at some point this late Summer/early Fall. Included are some dates for your consideration.

Please note that there’s a chance that there will be more offline mirrors of the set; Canada and UK sites are possible but not definite at the moment. If you think you’re much more likely to play at one of those sites, please don’t vote in the poll. Further, if you’re interested in running a mirror of the set, please reach out to the editors! The online mirror does not mean that we’re not interested in more real-life mirrors of the set.

Hi all, the vast majority of you elected to play on September 15, so we will host the tournament on that date. Expect an announcement later tonight.

Because the date chosen by this poll conflicts with the online mirror of OCTAVIAN, we have decided to re-run the date poll taking this into account. The new poll is multi-option, so please vote for ALL dates that you would be available to play, even if this means voting for every option. If it turns out that there is not significant overlap with the field of any other online mirror, we may go ahead and run the tournament on that date despite the conflict; if so, we will coordinate with whoever is running that mirror to try to fit both events in at different times on the same day. Our goal is for as many people as possible to be able to play both UAQ and OCTAVIAN (or EFT, if that date is chosen), if they so desire.

Additionally, the editors of UAQ have not heard any further updates from potential Canadian or UK mirror hosts, so DO NOT assume that those mirrors will be happening. If you are in either of those regions and interested in playing the set, keep in mind that those mirrors are not confirmed and that your best bet for playing the tournament might end up being online. We would, of course, love for those mirrors to happen, so anyone interested in running them should contact me or another member of the editing team.
