I am playing this with a certain gentleman from the East, whose middle name references a brother of Ganesh.

An assortment of Carleton students will attend this tournament, most likely as a cohesive team.

Aayush and I will actually be playing this (as frenemies) in the Burgh of Pitt. But I'm sure this event will be fun too.

Will this mirror have enough teams to go ahead? I'm currently only seeing 2 registered teams, and while I would love to play a Summit Series style event, it would be beneficial to know if more teams plan on coming.

Yes, we've had interest expressed by RIT players and some open players. Further, house teams will be thrown in if needed to expand the field.TheRhymeMinister wrote:Will this mirror have enough teams to go ahead? Rod Coutts Hall of Engineering (RCH )211 will be serving as Tournament HQ. We currently have 6 teams registered, but hope to expand to a field of 8 teams.
Please aim to arrive at RCH 211 by 9:00 am, with games starting no later than 9:30 am.
For teams exploring accommodation requirements Saturday night (or possibly Friday night as well) please contact me.
For teams looking for parking, Lot C would be closest to RCH. It may be found on the map here. Also take note of the building labeled "RCH": https://uwaterloo.ca/industrial-organiz ... k=dmODZwYL
We don't expect any city-wide marathons to be happening on the day of the tournament, but if anything does develop, we shall be sure to alert attending teams, as is required of dutiful hosts.

"McGill" (Derek, Daniel, Sebastian and Adam Swift of RIT) won outright after a double round robin at 9-1.
Thanks to all for running this smoothly.

I just want to thank Aayush and all the members of Waterloo who moderated the tournament or kept the score. While the tournament questions may have been a little capricious with the quality and difficulty, the staff were always excellent and made this tournament entertaining. I also want to thank Joe Su regularly updating stats while having the burden of playing. All in all, this was a fun tournament and I await MUT @ Waterloo with bated breath.

Once Aauysh or a forum staffer gives me ownership of the tournament, the stats will be up here.
Please let me know if there are any mistakes or if you want to retroactively give yourself or your team a nickname.
