Qwiz Camps - Summer 2021 will offer both virtual AND in-person

Post by Joshua Rutsky »

It’s official!

After careful consideration, Qwiz is pleased to announce that we will be offering both virtual and in-person camps for the summer of 2021!

We know that you are ready to get back to camps, but we want to be as careful as possible when it comes to your health. In order to provide the safest possible environment for those who are ready to return to the in-person camp experience, we have decided to relocate our Illinois camp to Illinois Wesleyan University and our Alabama camp to Jacksonville State University. We are also working directly with these universities to implement COVID safety protocols.

Unfortunately, due to decisions made by LA County and the state of California regarding camp staffing and attendance, we will be unable to offer our in-person camp at Scripps College this summer. While this is a disappointment, we have every intention of making our California debut next year at Scripps. Meanwhile, campers who were interested in our California site can still have a great quizbowl experience this summer through Qwiz’s Virtual Camp!

Virtual Camp is an ideal option for those who aren’t quite ready to return to in-person camps at this time. You’ll get all of the classes, practices, and tournament fun from our in-person camps delivered to you in the comfort of your own home by our team of experienced instructors--coaches who know the game and how to teach players to win!

In-person or virtual, Qwiz Camp has an option for you. Come Qwiz with us this summer, and get ready to rock the buzzer next season!
