Did ACE shut down?

I was looking for their website and it kept saying the server was not found. Is my phone broken or did ACE shut down?

They are now at qwizbowl.com, at least based on the mailers they sent to my tournament in October. No clue why they changed it or when.

At least, I assume they're one and the same.

I'm sure Eric or Joshua have more details they can provide, but I'll jump in briefly to note that Qwiz and ACE are not the same and ran different camps last year. For example, in my neck of the woods, I believe Qwiz ran a camp at Bradley University in Peoria (I don't know because I wasn't there), whereas ACE ran a camp at Rockford University (I know because I got an e-mail from an RU Director of Operations asking for help contacting ACE, as RU hadn't been paid for their facilities, nor had any of the other campuses RU had talked to to see if their experiences were similar).

I stand corrected; my apologies for any false association. Based on that, I'd say ACE has kicked the bucket.

Oh, well. Glad I was there when they were around.

For what it's worth, aceqb.com redirects to acequizbowlcamps.com, which is down, and sciencechampionship.com is also down.

Per what was said above, ACE and Qwiz are not the same company rebranded. Qwiz was founded last year with the intent of producing a different type of camp with a different philosophy, and we will continue to provide that experience this year in our five camps. We look forward to serving the quiz bowl community for many years to come.
