Qblitz is back for 2020-2021!

Post by Dominator »

(cross-post with high school section)

Are you ready to play quizbowl again? Is COVID keeping your tournaments virtual or non-existent? We’ve got some great news for you!

Qblitz is better than ever this year, with new events and opportunities for you and your team to get the competition you want and the practice you need, all in one place!

Qblitz is an online quizbowl game where your team competes to answer tossups quickly and accurately. Your time to the buzz is then compared with your opponent’s time, and the faster correct answer wins the points! After the match, you’ll be able to see exactly where you buzzed in each question, and where that other team buzzed as well, so you can target your team’s weak areas for practice. Qblitz provides you with statistics for analyzing your performance overall as well, making it a great tool for coaches!

Do you want to see how your team stacks up against national competition? Try the Qblitz Challenge series for High School or Middle School teams! Your team will have their performance matched against all other teams in the events, so you can see how you would have fared head-to-head with any other competing school. No travel fees, no lunches and dinners, and no 5AM bus rides. Qblitz gets you right to the best part of quizbowl -- the game!

Are you looking for something extra? Qblitz has solo events and Community Open tournaments where you can test your skills.

Best of all, Qblitz tournaments are short events you can play when YOU find it convenient. Just register for an event, then log in to compete during the event window. Teams can compete from schools or from their own homes, and coaches -- well, you can relax and put your feet up! No equipment to manage, no dropped connections -- Qblitz is no-hassle quizbowl.

Visit our newly updated website to check out our upcoming events, or to register to play! Try the game out with a free online sample round, or join our mailing list to keep up with the latest announced events. We’ll even give you a FREE set of practice questions just for signing up!
