Possible team at Alaska-Fairbanks

Post by alexdz »

I heard from a friend/former MU quizbowler that he was planning to start some kind of trivia/quiz club at UAF this year.

I have no idea what kind of travel budget they might have access to, but if anyone wants to invite them to an upcoming tournament in the northwest, let me know and I can pass along the information.

I think their best bet is to talk to their local ACUI person and see if they can get budget to accompany any recreational sports teams to the ACUI regionals where NAQT SCT is taking place. Besides that, they'll either need to fly to tournaments or try to exist as an online-only quizbowl team.
