Several people have told me in person that their school will be at Regionals. That is awesome, but I need an email or a post here with the number of teams and buzzers you plan on bringing.
Miami must be coming because they submitted like 3 packets. Unlike Chicago, for example.

Michigan will be coming, probably with 2-3 teams and a hat.

To confirm, it'll be 2 teams. We'll bring 3 sets of buzzers.
Also, rumor has it that Trashtwostrophe is happening afterwards?

Is Trashtwostrophe going to be doubles? Regardless of whether it is or not, I would like to play. If it is doubles, I think I might coerce someone else into being my teammate.
EDIT: It looks like I have a teammate.

We'll have a couple buzzer systems. We won't be staying for trash (most of us have seen or written at least parts of the set and we've got to get back to Illinois to run high school stuff anyway.)

Hey,
I never got a notification of the start time or meeting room for this. If someone could post those, I'd be much obliged.

Congratulations to Illinois A, who went undefeated and won a one-game advantaged final over Michigan A to win ACF Regionals Midwest.

Top scorers were Mike from Illinois A, Kurtis from Michigan A and Michael from Chicago A.

full stats, including finals are up: http://results.scobo.net/SQBS.aspx?org= ... =standings

The Trashtwostrophe mirror also happened, and after some minor chaos figuring out how to run an 11-team tournament on seven packets*, a great time was had by all. I'm almost certain that Marnold and Seal went undefeated to win, while the other top bracket teams were Brian Saxton/Doug, Matt Luby/Jonathan Graham, and Jacob Durst/Andy Sekarak.

(*We ended up splitting a team to make 12, then running prelims of 4-4-4, rebracketing, and finals. The wildcard spot in the top bracket had to be decided by total powers as three teams were tied at 2-1, and two of those teams had the exact same PPG.)

Stats were recorded and may be put up sometime, though I don't myself know who has them now.

How does Mike from Miami B have 3 powers? That makes no sense.

Also, I'm pretty sure Michigan A didn't have 9.33 ppb against Miami when in all other games we broke 15 ppb.

At least they don't have a "Mike" and "Sorice" on Illinois A anymore. That was somewhat amusing to see in the preliminary stats.

Minor stats foibles aside, thanks to Ohio State for a well-run tournament and to Jerry, the other editors, and the writers for an excellent set.

Your other gross stats look sensible for that round (15 TU, 3 Neg, 20 TUH, 275 pts.) If your PPB is wrong, one or more of those must be. Maybe you got 375 or something?

I'm pretty sure we did have 375 for that round; I can confirm this Tuesday, when I am in the same state as my notebook.

Beyond that, thanks for a well run tournament!
