CO Lit announcement

The Chicago Open Literature Akademspiel will take place during CO weekend this year. It will be coordinated by me, with questions and getting-done-checking also provided by Dave Letzler, Trygve Meade, Rob Carson, Gautam Kandlikar, Jack Glerum, and Shantanu Jha.

The main tournament will be in doubles format with players responsible for creating their own teams in advance. There will also be an additional singles packet designed to be played in head-to-head, spectator-pleasing format by the top two scorers from the main event.

Cost, difficulty, distribution, and procedures will emulate the successful Magin tournaments closely; packets will consist of 20 tossups without bonuses and will have power marks, as usual. If there's any further questions, post them here.

Yeah, I'm playing this. If anyone's looking for a washed up lit player who couldn't care less about books from America I'm available.

I'll say I'm playing this, but it would probably be better for all if I just read for it.

If you promise to have a TU-to-neg ratio above 1? Sure.

I'm playing and looking for a teammate not interested in winning who can get stuff outside American and British Lit (I usually only read stuff originally written in English).

Great, then it's official. Note: actual anger only kicks in at r<1/3.

I wouldn't mind riding Magin's coattails to victory, but I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. You can also add Borglum/Ahmad to that duos list.
