Buzzerfest discussion
Bryce has just informed me that there will be no mirror of this at Notre Dame, so the set is open for discussion. I will post it probably tomorrow after my orgo exam.

I don't mean to be rude, but two minutes of making a .zip file and emailing cdcarter@gmail is all you need to post the set, roughly what it took to write that post.

Sorry, I just made the post then switched to writing my lab report. I just e-mailed the zip.

Re: Buzzerfest discussion
I will probably have more to say later, but I just wanted to express my pleasant surprise on hearing a well-structured and clueful tossup on Beethoven's 7th Symphony, quite possibly the best example of a work that doesn't come up nearly enough because of the difficulty of writing good questions on absolute music.

I just looked through the set for that tossup, and it's pretty cool. Thanks to whichever Rutgers player wrote that one!

Re: Buzzerfest discussion
In case anyone cares, I edited some math and physics for Buzzerfest. If people have strong feelings about those questions one way or the other, let me know.

Re: Buzzerfest discussion
The questions that Jerry edited ended up exclusively in the three editors packets, and I just realized that two of the physics bonuses he edited never made it in due to my haste. I am especially interested in people's comments on Editors 1 & 2, and Duke's and Rochester's packets, since those were the ones that I was able to spend the most time on before I got into a time crunch (especially, especially Editors 2, since I wrote most of it).
In any case, I think it's pretty obvious from the stats that I screwed up on bonus difficulty, so I'd like to hear about that also. Furthermore, from some earlier comments, it seems that the distributions within distributions were also off, so I'd like to hear that fleshed out too.

This may be a little late, but if anyone has feedback on Buzzerfest, I'd like to hear it, whether it's here or by e-mail.
