But if you click on them again, they don't disappear. Please, son, do something nontrivial for a change.

Proof-of-concept, man, proof-of-concept. Besides, it's not really that worth my while until more than one (1) packet of quiz bowl questions exists as pure HTML. Though hey, question database people, you might want to check this out. Especially for the acfdb, because the alert-based JavaScript answer hiding is kind of silly.everyday847 wrote:But if you click on them again, they don't disappear. The alert-based thing was mostly me wanting a way to hide answers and being lazy about it.BuzzerZen wrote:Though hey, question database people, you might want to check this out. Especially for the acfdb, because the alert-based JavaScript answer hiding is kind of silly.
BUT, I think this is a good idea, and really easy to implement. So I'm pushing it onto the end of my queue of work.

This is actually pretty neat, and shouldn't be hard to integrate into Gyaankosh. I especially like the fact that when I go to print the questions, it doesn't have the answers hidden.

Replace .show() with .toggle() in the jQuery.everyday847 wrote:But if you click on them again, they don't disappear. Please, son, do something nontrivial for a change.

Maybe if I had spent more than sixty seconds learning about jQuery I would've known that existed!dschafer wrote:Replace .show() with .toggle() in the jQuery.everyday847 wrote:But if you click on them again, they don't disappear. Please, son, do something nontrivial for a change.
