TRASH Regionals Wrap-Up

All TRASH regional tournaments are now complete. We're still waiting for some statistical reports to come in and we should have a TRASHionals 2009 location as well as a list of teams that will be receiving our first set of bids to the event shortly.
Last year those announcements occurred in January, which is obviously suboptimal - we hope to have everything on this end done by the Christmas holiday this year.

In the meantime, please feel free to discuss question content - what you liked, what you didn't like, what you'd like to see at future TRASH regional tournaments, whatever. We can change, and have changed, certain aspects of our question content following feedback in the past, and this is one way we strive to put out a better product. And thanks to everyone who played, and to everyone who didn't discuss questions due to one regional taking place a week later than other regionals. We can't please everyone all the time but are happy to take suggestions as to how we can produce a better overall product.

Sort of, kind of speaking for TRASH in a vague, general way.

Tim, I really appreciate your taking the effort to solicit feedback. This has been an issue with TRASH in the past.

Is it possible for someone to email me the questions? Due to logistical challenges, we only got to play 6 rounds at the Boulder site. It will be much easier for me to offer feedback if I have the entire question set in front of me!

Thanks

As I have stated to the people at my location, overall the questions were great. The only problem I had was with the lack of questions covering recent things. Mostly the questions covered old material, that while great, greatly hindered teams, like mine, which are quite young in age. I realize to most of the teams, the questions were right up their alley due to, well being alive when the subjects of most of the questions happened. Again, the questions were great, were gettable by the end (though they rarely got there haha) I would just hope for a little more questions catering to the up and coming youth of the trivia world. thank you

P.S. how do you attach a signature, cause if i get that stupid no signature thing again im going to be upset
